Shortly before sunset this evening, we went out for a drive along the base of Comb Ridge while the sun was low in the sky.

One of my goals this weekend was to experiment with some start trail photos. While this photo is not the best, I don’t think it’s too bad for my first try. I would have liked to get more light in the foreground so that the tent would be more visible; it’s pretty hard to make out unless you look close. I did manage to get some taillights heading up through Comb Ridge in the background which looks pretty cool, too. I figured I would post this up as a bonus photo, so I can look back when I hopefully get better at these shots 😉
