We headed up to the Colorado national Monument tonight after the moon set so we could watch the Perseid Meteor Shower. The sky was nice and dark and we were able to see a bunch of meteors. It was also dark enough that we could see the Milky Way above us as well. Here’s my attempt at a photo of the Milky Way. If you look closely, you will also see I got a a meteor in the photo as well.
