Gear Setup Progress

Pretty much finished setting up the gears in my HP Dana 30. Pinion is a tad bit deep, but will be fine in a front axle application. Backlash is .008

Axle Stuff

Got a bunch of stuff this week for the axles. Now I can get down to business and start rebuilding that HP Dana 30 I have laying around.

Actually, I am still waiting on the proper gears for my D30…..I was originally sent 4.88’s

Can open the hatch again!

Moved the license plate to the other side of my carrier this evening so I can open my hatch again. I’m not too happy with the way it turned out, and I may redo it later…..but for now, at least I can open my hatch again 🙂

Bye Bye Drum Brakes

…..well, in the next few weeks, they will be gone 😉 No more dealing with drum brakes!
