Drivable Again!
Well, it took me all weekend and most of Monday evening, but my Jeep is drivable again!

D30 Gone
Well, this is the weekend I need to try to get this thing driveable again! So i got a long weekend in the garage ahead of me…but here’s some pics from this evening for now
Driveshaft repaired
Red Top installed with marine terminals (winch hooked up)
Front bumpstops added
Front axle gone
Hopefully will get the new one in tomorrow…

Yesterday’s Progress
First, I had to rob some other parts from my 92.
shackles and bumpstop plates
perches ready to go on
also decided to add a piece of metal to the top of the passenger side UCA mount
then did a little painting
…and finally if you remeber this picture from my wheeling trip last month:
well, I went ahead and fixed it for good, too
tacked in place to test fit under the XJ
welded up
now i just need to bolt it back up 🙂

Transfer Case back in!
Yep, got my transfercase back in tonight (along with the new heat shield over the muffler, and tranny mount).
I also got the gas tank skid on, too. 🙂
Got most of the day tomorrow to work on it some more…..

No-Slip Installed
Well, I finished up the internals of my 8.25 this evening. 4.56 gears are in, and the No-Slip is installed. Now I just gotta throw it back under the Jeep, install my new perches (at the proper pinion angle), and re-route the hard brake lines the way I want.
