Heading to Comb Ridge

My original plans for today was to get up early and to explore Garvey Canyon located north of Fruita in the Book Cliffs. However, it rained all day yesterday and I figured the trail would still be slick and muddy today, so I cancelled that plan. Guess I will have to wait until the spring to check out that canyon now, because is closes for the season on December 1st.

Now, I’m just waiting for Amanda to get off work at about 12:30 so that we can head down to Blanding, Utah this evening. We are planning on spending the weekend exploring Anasazi ruins along Comb Ridge by foot and by Jeep this weekend. We should have plenty of pictures when we get back 🙂

Merry ‘very early’ Xmas!

A little while back, Amanda said she had wanted to get a Wii for Xmas, so I agreed to go in on half the price of the Wii and some accessories and games and call it an Xmas gift to both of us. We knew with the holidays getting closer, it would probably become more difficult to find one again, so we decided to pick one up early today while were out shopping 🙂

So far we ended up getting the Wii console, Wii Play with extra remote, an extra nunchuck, and rechargeable battery packs with charging stand.

Around Grand Junction

Me and my camera…

Amanda took some pictures of me yesterday at the Colorado National Monument and since my parents are always asking me to post pictures of myself, I figured I’d post them up.

Enjoy…

Well, I’ve wanted to do this for a while, and I finally just got around to signing up for a Concealed Carry (CCW) class. The class is on November 21st here in Grand Junction.

Just thought I would share 🙂
