Back home…

Just wanted to let you know that I made it back home safely from 9 days in Moab earlier today. After a long nap, I’m awake again 🙂 Be on the lookout for a full trip report and plenty more pictures in the next week or so.

I took almost 1,500 pictures over the last 9 days 😀

Headed to Moab!

That’s right! Tomorrow morning, bright and early, I am heading out for Moab. This first weekend I am meeting up with Alex and Jared to do some exploring in the Needles district of Canyonlands National Park. Then next week and the following weekend I will be participating in NAXJA’s 25th Anniversary Event. I’m going to try and post a few pictures over the next week when I can, so check back. I’ll also try to update my Twitter when I can.

Here’s a picture of my Jeep ready to head out. Yes, I have two spare tires….I want to make sure I make it through the next nine days without any problems 🙂

Made it home.

After spending over $800 this week on diesel, I have finally managed to get my other Jeep over here to Grand Junction. I also managed to get a few other tools and parts that I had to leave behind, too.

Loaded up for the trip home

Ready to head back.

Well, my hotel room is just about cleaned up, and I’ll be starting my way back to Colorado in a few hours, after I pickup my trailer and a few other things at my parents house.

Check out my Twitter updates on the right side of the screen if you want to keep track of where I am 😉

…and don’t worry, I’ll be heading to the San Juan Mountains next weekend for my last trip of the season, and I’ll be posting new pictures on my site here after then 🙂

Colorado Mountain Ranges

When I write-up my weekend trips and trails on my website here, I like to use the mountain range name to help identify the area that I am in. While I know where these ranges are located, it has been brought to my attention that not everyone does.

Because of that, I have found a map of Colorado that shows where all of the major mountain ranges are located. Hopefully this will help out your explorations in Colorado or when you are following along with mine 🙂

I may go though in the future and add some more features to this map, but this one should suffice for now.
