Did this a few weeks ago, but forgot to mention it. When I bought my new truck, I had to get new license plates, since I needed truck plates. That means I couldn’t transfer the plates on my Expedition over. Since I had those plates since I was 16, I decided to transfer them over to my Jeep instead 🙂

Yeah, I know….nothing about Jeeps or wheeling, but I don’t care. I went with Amanda last night and saw Rise Against at the Congress Theater. It was an awesome show! Here’s a few pics I grabbed with my phone (sorry, quality isn’t the greatest).

Doug’s wife Stephanie posted a note on GLJT here:
Hey, this is Stephanie. I’m greatful, Doug had his access to the sight locked in the computer, so I could get to you. He just Loved to Go Jeeping. Thank you everyone for your kind words and pictures. Doug looked forward to going out with all of you. It’s amazing how fast he grew to love this insane hobby.
I’ve spent a lot of time looking thorugh the picures. We had the best time at Bash this year. He had such a great time at Tellico with Randy, that we were starting to plan a trip back there next summer.
I gotta thank Zach for letting you know about all this. He has been such a great friend to Doug and I. He’s grown up so much in just the few years I’ve Known him. He’s a great teacher, loyal friend, and crazy as @#$%. He always could make Doug laugh. You guys get a little too tough on the kid sometimes, so please give him time to grieve, be as understanding as possible and help him out.
Zach and our Daughter, Maggie will be driving Big Blue in the Honor procession with all the fire trucks on the way to the church. Doug wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
Sweeze, Ranger Paul, John & Craig, Randy, JoeZ – You guys rock too! We have had a great time bouncing around and sharing the laughs.
Doug would have hated us crying over him, so crack open a brew, recall a Doug Story, and remember to share yourselves with each other as freely as he gave of himself to others. Live your life to the fullest with no regrets. Doug Did and I couldn’t have been prouder to known and loved him.
Love,
Steph
