Grand Junction finally got it’s first real snow of the winter season today. While I was walking downtown on my break shortly after the snow started, I saw this metal grate that surrounds the trees and noticed the design kind of reminded me of a snowflake.
I’ve been looking for this petroglyph for a few weeks, and thanks to a new friend who pointed me in the right direction, I was finally able to get there this morning. I was unhappy with the light when I arrived there first thing this morning, but later in the morning the light was better, so I headed back and took this photo.
One of the many petroglyphs I found around Moab today. I decided to play around and zoom out while taking this photo. I like the way it turned out.
