Snow Covered Bench
We got our first snow last night that actually started to stick to the ground, though it didn’t last through the day. Here’s a photo of some snow on a bench in front of the Mesa County Courthouse.
Bonus Photo: Sun Ray
A quick photo I took on my way home this evening as the sun was down behind the cliffs of the Colorado National Monument.

Vicious Snake
Part of a pictograph panel we managed to find this afternoon in Wild Horse Canyon which cuts through the San Rafael Reef.
Bonus Photo: Headless Snake Man
An interesting pictograph panel located along the Temple Mountain Road. Unfortunately, erosion hasn’t been kind to this one.
Bonus Photo 2: The Weeping Eye
The second bonus photo for today was taken by Amanda at the Wild Horse Window (Skylight Arch). She borrowed my camera as she was laying on the ground under the opening and took this photo.

Morning Glory
This morning I hiked up Negro Bill Canyon to Morning Glory Arch with my friend Jackson. I have driven by this trail hundreds of times and always told myself I needed to take that hike someday. Today was that day, and it was a nice hike. Morning Glory Arch was pretty impressive when we got underneath it.
