Enchiladas

Amanda made enchiladas for dinner this evening so I figured I would take a picture of the cheese and red sauce on top. Yummy!

30-365 | Day 257

After the Storm

The storms we had over the weekend that continued through today have blown down a lot of the leaves that had changed colors. While out for a walk I took this photo looking down at the only green leaf in sight in a sea of golden leaves.

30-365 | Day 256

White & Gold

I was up in the La Sal Mountains for a bit to photograph some of the last fall colors up there this season. I liked the way this aspen stood out from the golden leaves behind it along the road to Lake Oowah.

30-365 | Day 255

First Lightning

On our way home from Green River this evening there was a good storm over the Book Cliffs producing some decent lightning. I have wanted to try and get a photo of some lightning for a while, so I got off at the Cisco exit and parked along the old highway to try and capture some. This is one of the better photos I took.

Bonus Photo: Chaffin Geyser

Early in the day we stopped at the old Chaffin Ranch and waited for the cold water geyser to erupt. This is one of the close-up photos I took.

Wet Leaf

It rained most of the day in Grand Junction today and it was overcast all day. As I took a walk on my break I stopped under a tree and took this photo of the red leaf on the green grass surrounded by some brown leaves.
