I’m going to continue on with the Alphabet Game today with the letter M. Since I have been riding my bike a lot these last few weeks, I figured I would take a photo of the M in the Motobecane logo on the front of my bike.
Yep, another flower. This one is on one of the bushes right in front of our house and it just started to bloom within the last few days.
I took this photo on my break in front of the old Mesa County Courthouse where there were plenty of flowers in bloom.
We saw and photographed a number of ruins today, but while I was looking through my photos this one managed to catch my eye and I just had to choose it. I think it is the black markings on the roof of the alcove above the ruin that makes it interesting to me. Don’t worry though, I’ll be posting up more photos of ruins later this week when I get my trip report from the weekend posted 😉
Shortly before sunset this evening, we went out for a drive along the base of Comb Ridge while the sun was low in the sky.
One of my goals this weekend was to experiment with some start trail photos. While this photo is not the best, I don’t think it’s too bad for my first try. I would have liked to get more light in the foreground so that the tent would be more visible; it’s pretty hard to make out unless you look close. I did manage to get some taillights heading up through Comb Ridge in the background which looks pretty cool, too. I figured I would post this up as a bonus photo, so I can look back when I hopefully get better at these shots 😉
