Rough Canyon Flowing

Amanda and I headed up to the Bangs Canyon area after work so we could hike to the Mica Mine. We encountered the seasonal creek through Rough Canyon to flowing pretty good, so I shot a few pictures.

Snaking Through the Reef

I’ve always liked this viewpoint of I-70 snaking it’s way through the San Rafael Reef, so on our way home from the San Rafael Swell today, I stopped for another photo.

Bonus Photo: Rain Angels?

After leaving camp this morning, I made the obligatory stop at the Buckhorn Wash Pictograph Panel. One theory is that these figures are ‘rain angles’ and that the lines drawn on them represent rain.

Powerful Sunset

While we were racing across Buckhorn Flat to reach our campsite before dark, I just had to pull over and take some photos of the colorful sunset. I like the silhouette of the power lines heading off into the distance.

Bonus Photo: Swinging Bridge Light Painting

After reaching our campsite near the San Rafael Bridge, we walked over to the bridge to play with my camera and some lights.

ADVENTR

Another picture of my new license plate that came today. Added a border of other license plates that I had in my garage and I like the way it turned out.

White Tree

While taking another walk downtown, I came across a few trees that had these small white flowers on the branches, so I took a few shots.
