30-365 | Day 53

Expedition One Bumper

I figured that since I installed the new Expedition One front bumper on my Jeep this week, that I should show it off…and since we were in Moab today for Easter I thought I would at least show it off with some nice surrounding scenery, too. On our way home this evening, I pulled off of UT-128 towards the Richardson Amphitheater and snapped a few photos with the La Sal Mountains, Fisher Mesa, Adobe Mesa, and the Priest and Nuns in the background. The sky really didn’t cooperate with me, so here’s the best I got.

Quack!

Amanda and I got back from the West Lake State Wildlife Area a little while ago, where we went to take some photos of the ducks that are usually on the lake. Here’s one of my favorite photos I took today.

LED Painting

Decided to try a different form of light painting tonight. I turned off all of the lights in my office except for all the little LED lights on my cable modem, router, and external hard drives. I set my shutter speed to 2.5 seconds and turned up the ISO a little. Then I pointed my camera at the LED lights and moved it around while it was taking the photo. I like the end result.

Light

After working on my Jeep all night after work, I needed to find something to take a picture of today. After some other shots, I liked the look of the light on our new ceiling fan in this photo.

Rubicon Sunset

As I was driving home from Moab on UT 128, the sun was about to set. I pulled over and grabbed my camera and took a few photos before continuing on my way home.
