30-365 | Day 7
Steering Texture
After lunch this afternoon, I was sitting in my Jeep before heading back to work and noticed the texture on my steering wheel. I liked the way it looked, so I grabbed my camera that was sitting in the passenger seat and took a few photos. Since there wasn’t really any color in this photo to begin with, I converted it to black and white and turned up the contrast a bit. I have managed to complete a full week of this photo project….only 51 more to go…
30-365 | Day 6
Portrait of Moab
I took some photos around the house today for my 30-365 project, which I’m sure will be a common occurrence over the course of the year. After work I broke out the 50mm lens, set it wide open and started shooting photos of my cats. I really liked this photo of Moab laying on the edge of our counter.
30-365 | Day 5
Short Break in the Clouds
I spent most of my President’s Day around Moab. It was cloudy pretty much all day (seems to be the case the last three times I have been to Moab). On my way home, I decided to make one last stop at the old Dewey Bridge. As I was taking photos of what is left of the bridge, I looked up and saw a short break in the clouds with a little blue sky. It didn’t last long…
30-365 | Day 4
Peekaboo Rubicon
After climbing the Burr Trail switchbacks earlier today to see if Upper Muley Twist Trail was passable (it was not), I stopped and took a few photos of Peekaboo Arch before heading back down to Bullfrog.
Bonus Photo: Henry Mountains Over the Burr
Amanda really likes this photo of the Henry Mountains through the Waterpocket Fold and over the Burr Trail switchbacks, so I have decided to add it as a bonus photo for the day.
