On Saturday, Amanda and I hiked to the Hickman Natural Bridge in Capitol Reef National Park. We hung out around the bridge and took photos for a while before heading back. Here’s an HDR that gives you an idea of how big this natural bridge is.
I figured I would stick to the JK theme today. My original plan was to get a photo up at Bangs Canyon, however on my way back, I noticed my Jeep was going to turn over 1000 miles and pulled over to take this simple picture. They grow up so quickly….
To start off my 30-365 photo project, I found it fitting to take a photo of the birthday present I bought for myself this year. I liked the look of this one in black and white with the contrast turned up.
One of my goals for this year is to work on improving my photography. I have been looking at some 365 day photo projects recently and thought that doing one myself would help me get out there and help improve my photography by getting out everyday and shooting some photos.
For my 30th birthday, I am going to start my own 365 day photo project, where I will be taking and posting a photo everyday of my 30th year on this planet (Well, I will try to post them daily, but if I don’t have time or am out of town, they may be delayed a few days). Over the course of this year I will work on different types and techniques of photography. I’m sure that not all of my photos will be great, but I hope to continuously improve and try new things over the course of the year. Hopefully I can manage to keep this project up for the full year.
