The Split Sky: A Journey of Discovery in Utah’s Nine Mile Canyon
First, let me say, it has been a long time since I have actually read a book. However, last week I came across a post on RockyMountainExtreme.com that mentioned a few books from author Tom McCourt. After looking into the books on Amazon, they looked like something I would be interest in reading. Especially The Split Sky, since I had been through Nine Mile Canyon back in August.
Anyways, I could not put this book down, and I really enjoyed reading it. The author did a great job describing his experiences and I could really picture the canyon (of course it probably helps that I had been there recently 😉 )
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys exploring the canyons of Utah. Next I will be reading White Canyon by Tom McCourt, and I am sure I will not be disappointed.
